Guest Guidelines
You are welcome at the Majestic Theater.
The Theater Project dba Majestic Theater is committed to providing positive, inclusive, and memorable experiences for our audiences, artists, staff, and volunteers. By purchasing a ticket for a Majestic Theater event or working for the Majestic theater as an employee or contractor, you agree to comply with all the Majestic Theater’s applicable rules, policies, terms, and conditions. Remember that your ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused. Breach of the Majestic Theater’s Guest Guidelines below will terminate your license to attend the event without refund. The Majestic has the right to refuse admission to or eject—without refund of any amount paid—any person whose conduct Majestic Staff deems unsafe, disorderly, vulgar, or abusive, or who otherwise fails to comply with the Majestic Theater’s Guest Guidelines listed below. We have adopted these guidelines to foster a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all people that come through our doors.
The Majestic Theater is committed to providing an environment where:
All individuals treat each other with dignity and respect. The Majestic Theater does not tolerate discrimination or harassment in any form.
All individuals comply with health and safety protocols, including refraining from smoking, vaping, or use of other controlled substances in our venues and on our properties.
All individuals may use the restroom that best fits your gender identity or expression.
All individuals will refrain from disruptive behavior and disorderly conduct.
As a guest at our properties, you will be expected to:
Wear appropriate attire including protective foot covering.
When applicable, deemed so by Majestic, sit in your designated/ticketed seat and present a valid ticket when requested by staff and volunteers.
Comply with all performance-specific regulations, including, but not limited to, the use of photography, the use of audio and/or video recording equipment, and the silencing of cell phones.
Respect our artists and staff. Please feel free to laugh, enjoy, deliver standing ovations, and express other forms of appreciation toward our artists. Disrespectful behavior toward our artists and calling out to our artists during a performance is not permitted.
Follow the direction of staff and volunteers in the event of an emergency.
Refrain from bringing outside food or drink or possessing prohibited items while in our spaces.
Refrain from any illegal activities on or at any of our properties in accordance with Massachusetts law. Any illicit drug use or underage consumption of alcohol will result in immediate removal from our properties and, where applicable, termination of contract.
Consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner and in compliance with the law. Employees reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated. The Majestic reserves the right to terminate any contract where an artist or individual arrives for work intoxicated in any way.
Report inappropriate behavior to an usher, house manager, security officer, superior, or other identified staff member. Our staff has been trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure the above expectations are met. Please do not personally intervene with the questionable behavior of other guests or artists.
Penalties for not complying with these guidelines will be based on the severity of the infraction. Sanctions are determined by management and may include, but are not limited to: warnings, removal from the venue, restrictions from future attendance, or arrest.

And any other venue in which The Theater Project, Inc. productions are performed.

Media Waver
Majestic Theater Events are public and you may be recorded or photographed. You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event. You grant permission to the Theater Project dba Majestic Theater and our partners, licensees, and assigns (including but not limited to our brand and media partners) to use your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication, or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during, or after play or performance) for any purpose, in any manner (whether edited, cropped, altered, or combined with other elements or effects), in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, including marketing materials, without further authorization from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf. You agree that you will not have any claim, including claims based upon invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity, arising out of any use in accordance with the terms of this paragraph
SAFETY POLICIES
Keeping audiences, staff, and artists safe while ensuring excellent experiences is our priority.
The following security measures help to make a safe environment possible across our venues. We suggest you plan to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your event time to allow enough time for parking, going through the will call line, and to find your seat.
Please note these security measures are in effect:
Large bags and backpacks are prohibited inside the Majestic Theater venues for all events. Purses, handbags and satchels are allowed but may be subject to inspection.
Weapons are not permitted in the venues and/or public spaces owned or operated by the Majestic Theater. It shall be a violation of the Majestic Theater policy for any person to have in his or her possession any weapon or to introduce any weapon into any venue.
The Majestic Theater reserves the right to inspect and search persons entering the premises, including hand-carried items.
Any item that could endanger public safety is considered a weapon for purposes of this policy. The Majestic Theater reserves the right to refuse the entry of any item that could be considered a weapon.
The items listed below, and any additional items that the Majestic Theater management determines could potentially distract from audience/artist/employee/contractor safety and/or enjoyment, will not be allowed inside the venue**.
Backpacks or oversized bags
Illegal drugs/substances
Selfie sticks
Laser pointers/flashlights
Balloons, beach balls, or projectiles
Pets (service animals exempt)
Tripods/monopods
iPads and tablets
Signs/flags/banners
Fireworks or noise making devices
Skateboards/scooters/roller blades
**EXCEPTIONS: Those with disabilities, medical requirements and/or special needs. Guests with specific needs due to disabilities or medical conditions can contact the Box Office prior to attending the event to arrange for reasonable accommodations. Sworn law enforcement personnel; private security officers employed and/or contracted by The Majestic Theater.
Violators of this policy may be subject to ejection from The Majestic Theater property and/or civil or criminal penalties.
EVENT TIMELINES
Admission is not guaranteed for late arrivals. Generally, every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission is not guaranteed.
Advertised start times of events are subject to change. Also, door opening and closing times are not indicative of the performance’s start or end time, or when an artist is scheduled to play or the length of the artist’s performance. These decisions are at the sole discretion of the Majestic Theater and the Artists performing and are subject to change.

Healthy Ventilation Initiative
We have completed numerous COVID-19 countermeasures across our venues, including significant investments in our HVAC systems to meet CDC recommendations, maximizing fresh air intake per hour, and using recommended Merv-13 air filters to optimize air quality.Increased Cleaning & Sanitation Procedures
Increased frequency and thoroughness of disinfection of high-touch areas with CDC-recommended products; and we have equipped each of our venues with numerous hand sanitizer dispensers.
