Screaming Orphans, an all-sister folk and pop band from Ireland, are known for their award-winning sound, combining original pop songs with a unique take on traditional Irish music. Their music appeals to audiences of all ages. The band actively tours in America and each year plays at many Irish, Scottish, Celtic, Folk, and World music festivals as well as at various performing arts centers and concert series.

A fantastic evening of singing with “Mr. Doo-Wop”, Leslie Anderson and “Mr. Motown”, Irving Lewis. These two gentlemen have been seen on our stage many times in the popular Motown review, and are teaming up to bring us an all new show featuring an exciting blend of these two iconic music genres.

Western Mass pianist/entertainer Dave Brinnel teams up with his daughter, jazz singer/trombonist Hailey Brinnel. The duo performed in local venues for six years until, as Dave puts it, “Hailey went away to college and broke up the act.” The two will reunite on Fathers Day for an afternoon of jazz, New Orleans classics, pop and country songs, performed on piano and trombone with beautiful vocal harmonies.

It’s the first anniversary of Joe’s retirement and he’s moved back from Florida. For years, Joe Canata has been looking to share his love of music with the next generation. Joe’s been teaching some local high school students and will appear onstage with them to sing doo-wop classics.

Satinwood’s stunning tribute to Harry Chapin and Yusuf/Cat Stevens features selections from Chapin’s 1976 album Greatest Stories Live, Stevens’s 1970 album Tea for the Tillerman, and other legendary works. Authentic arrangements of unforgettable songs performed by the five piece band, all backed by Chapin’s original drummer Howard Fields.

Featuring the look and sounds of the 1960s British Invasion era and beyond, UnionJack celebrates the 60th Anniversary of the appearances of the Beatles and many of the other bands from England that invaded the US on the Sullivan Show in 1964. Featuring Kiernan Cone performing tunes from Dusty Springfield, LuLu, Petula Clark and more, this show will take you back to that iconic time in music history.

Snowderella by Nate Eppler is a hilarious play that follows a young group of storytellers attempting to put on a play about fairy tales, when their book falls and the pages fly out of order. This inaugural production of the Majestic Youth Theater Workshop features a group of middle-school aged performers and is sure to delight audiences with this exciting chance to show off what they’ve learned from this brand-new two-week program. Come join Curious George, the inquisitive, lovable monkey, and his friend, the Man in the Yellow Hat, in this brand-new live action show! All You-Can-Eat Meatball Day comes just once a year and George can’t wait to help his friend Chef Pisghetti cook and serve them up to a hungry crowd. But this year, the crowd has vanished! It seems they’ve been lured away by Phinneas T. Lightspeed and his speedy Meatballs-o-Matic machine. But George goes on a mission to help his friend and enters the Chef’s meatballs in the world-famous Golden Meatball Contest in Rome. With every swing and flip, George takes the audience through a fun-filled adventure, in which he learns more about traveling, history, and the secret ingredient to friendship! Curious George: The Golden Meatball is a loveable adventure for young audiences that is sure to leave them singing and swinging down the aisles!

One of the most popular and endearing children’s classics comes to life onstage in Frances Hodgson Burnett’s The Secret Garden. It tells the story of “Mistress Mary, quite contrary,” a neglected and disagreeable little girl who, after finding herself orphaned in India, is sent off to live in a gloomy castle in England, occupied by her widowed and miserable Uncle Archibald Craven. But as Mary begins to wander the castle grounds, the fresh air and exercise begin to make her less “contrary” and, most powerful of all, the discovery of a hidden, neglected garden rouses her curiosity and a desire to discover its secrets and nurture it back to life. A timeless and beautiful story about personal growth and healing, not only plants and flowers, but yourself and the friends and family around you, don’t miss The Secret Garden at the Majestic!
